Aso defends Lee's visit to Yasukuni
Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Aso said he seems no problem with former Taiwan President Lee Teng-hui's visiting on June 7, 2007 to Yasukuni Shrine which links the war. Lee’s brother died while serving in the Imperial Japanese Navy during WWII, and honored at Yasukunin Shrine.Just after his visiting, China expressed “strong dissatisfaction” with Japan for allowing Lee.
